Why Day 10 focuses on coupons

Coupons are easy to misunderstand because Mulebuy shoppers pay in stages. A product order, warehouse service, parcel submission, international shipping fee, points redemption, and VIP discount can each have different rules. The human decision is to calculate the final cost, not to chase the biggest-looking coupon label.

Coupon decision checklist

Discount typeWhat to verify before using it
Product couponConfirm whether it applies to the item purchase stage, the selected seller/listing, and the current order total.
Shipping couponUse it only after QC and parcel weight are clear. Check route, minimum spend, destination, and expiry before submitting shipping.
VIP discountVerify the current account level inside Mulebuy instead of assuming a benefit from an old screenshot or guide.
Points redemptionCompare the coupon value against point expiry. Do not redeem points too early if the coupon expires before your parcel is ready.
Event or referral couponCheck if the event requires specific tasks, app use, referral binding, or Discord/account actions before the coupon becomes usable.

Use coupons in the right order

Start with the item price and domestic shipping. After the item reaches the warehouse, approve QC, remove bad rows, choose packaging, and estimate actual versus volumetric weight. Only then compare shipping coupons, VIP discount, points redemption, and route restrictions. A coupon that forces a poor shipping route is not a real saving.

Common coupon mistakes

  • Redeeming points into a coupon before the parcel is ready.
  • Ignoring minimum spend or fee-type restrictions.
  • Assuming a product coupon can reduce international shipping.
  • Choosing a heavier merge parcel only to meet a coupon threshold.
  • Forgetting to screenshot the coupon, expiry, order total, and final payment page.

Practical haul-cost formula

For each haul, write the cost as: item cost plus domestic shipping plus service or handling fees plus international shipping minus eligible discounts. Then mark each discount by stage: product, shipping, VIP, points, or event. This prevents double-counting a coupon and makes the final agent cost easier to compare.

Calculate before redeeming

Use the spreadsheet row, QC status, parcel weight, shipping line, VIP status, and coupon terms as one calculation.
